On a proposal from Joël KARECKI, Chairman of Cofrac, Cofrac’s board of administrators approved Dominique GOMBERT’s appointment as General Director last December 19th. He succeeds to Bernard DOROSZCZUK and takes his functions on this 2 January.
Dominique GOMBERT is an engineer from Mines' school, like his predecessors.
He knows well conformity assessment’s activity, metrology and issues of these fields. During his career, he has been in charge, in different situations, of environmental and public health risks questions. Thereby, Dominique GOMBERT worked for AIRPARIF, INERIS and ANSES.
Cofrac will benefit from his experience. He will help it to meet the challenges it faces.
Since 2017, he was deputy head of cabinet of the minister of the ecological transition.
Cofrac welcomes Dominique GOMBERT and wishes him a lot of success in his new duties.
