The first edition of the Accreditation and Healthcare forum proved to be a great success. This densely-packed day comprehensively ran the rule over accreditation in medical biology, and reflected on the improvements, the expected optimisations, and the 2020 deadline.
This event was also the opportunity to discuss the accreditation of point-of-care testing (POCT) and the voluntary accreditation of pathological anatomy and cytology, along with the imminent introduction of accreditation in the field of medical imaging.
