Standards from the EN 45000 and ISO/IEC 17000 series

The general requirements for accreditation are laid down in the standards in the ISO/IEC 17000 series and the EN 45000 series.

The international accreditation organisations, ILAC, IAF and EA, have drawn up a series of guides that can be consulted by bodies applying for accreditation, accredited bodies and evaluators in ensuring the application of the standards in the field that interests them.
